Rene Agudelo is a multi-disciplined, senior graphic designer, with more than 8 years experience –––––

Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Rene became interested in drawing, fashion and technology from an early age. He studied illustration and paint during secondary school and in 2004 commenced studying Graphic Design at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, Bogotá, Colombia, in which he obtained a Bachelor of Graphic Design with honors.

With a keen eye for detail and a great understanding of all aspects of design, Rene has had the privilege of working with well-recognized brands, design studios, digital agencies and top fashion textile companies. His most recent role was as a Director / Senior Designer for the world-renowned design firm HBA (Hirsch Bedner Associates) in Melbourne, Australia, whereby he worked on branding, signage and wayfinding for hospitality design projects in Asia and Australia. His project experience includes residential, commercial and hospitality brand identity; fashion textile illustration and user experience design projects. Currently, Rene works as an independent designer and art director directly with clients worldwide, he also partners with design firms as an independent consultant.
